The US Navy SEALs (�SEAL� stands for Sea, Air and Land) have long been a famed special operations formation. As their name suggests, they are capable of operating at sea, in the air and on land conducting a variety of missions. Their most famous operation occurred on May 2, 2011, when SEAL Team 6 performed a covert penetration by helicopter in Pakistan. The target was none other than the USA�s most wanted criminal � Osama bin Laden, the murdering planner of the deadly 9-11 attacks. The 40-man team was inserted into Abbottabad by helicopter, proceeded to assault bin Laden�s fortified compound, and put a bullet to the head of the world's biggest piece of garbage.

Dragon has launched a 1/35 scale figure set commemorating the recent exploits of SEAL Team 6. The SEAL team members are wearing a range of apparel and uniforms. The set even includes frogmen, showing SEALs in their natural environment. The eight sharply molded figures included in the set also wield a range of different weapons. Together, this set offers modelers a better understanding of the uniforms, equipment and weapons of this top-flight US Navy fighting force. Their motto is �The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday�, but Dragon has certainly made it easier for modelers to get closer to these elite American soldiers!
